With Videosync, you can create both events that have free access for all, as well as events that require the attendee to register or sign in. Registration settings are handled in Build —> Registration. Let's look at the different options available.
- Show registered participants opens a view showing all participants that have been registered so far. Do note that, for more detailed information about audience engagement, you'd need to use Analytics dashboard instead.
- If you want your audience to be able to enter the event without leaving any information about themselves, use the No registration option. Do note, that you can still use any authentication method with this option - this is quite typical for internal events.
- Custom option stands for a fully customized registration, in which you select which fields to use, what kind of confirmation emails to send etc.
- To allow registration only for people with certain email domain or email address, use Whitelisted registration
- Invite only means that only people with an invitation link sent from Videosync can sign in to the event (invitees are auto-enrolled to the event).
- External registration is used in cases where some other system (Hubspot or Marketing Cloud for example) is being used to gather registrations.
